Track 03 · BASIX.MARKET — Builder and marketplace workflows
Track name on your submission: Builder and marketplace workflows
Build an Omega agent that moves a builder from verified skills to the right project, and explains every recommendation it makes.
Who you are building for
BASIX.MARKET is a Web3 and AGI incubator and marketplace. Builders learn MeTTa, earn verifiable credentials, ship real software in live cohorts, and own what they build as on-chain IP. It runs on the DICE model: Developers, Investors, Creators and Entrepreneurs co-own the value they create. Entrepreneurs bring ideas; the verified builder pool ships them.
The problem
Builders earn badges and finish challenges, then wait. Entrepreneurs post briefs and get the wrong applicants. Nobody can see why a builder was matched to a project, so trust in the match is low on both sides.
Your build
Pick one platform workflow and do it well:
- Project discovery — suggest open briefs that fit a builder's credentials and interests
- Contributor matching — suggest builders for a brief, with reasons
- Onboarding — guide a new builder to their first suitable project
- Submission review — check a submission against its brief and flag gaps
What Omega does here
| Role | Matchmaker or reviewer that recommends and explains. |
| Memory and reasoning | Remembers profiles, briefs and past decisions; uses MeTTa rules to score fit and explain each match. |
| Tools | Sample builder profiles, sample project briefs, any BASIX access you are authorised to use. |
Demo script (3 minutes)
- Load a builder profile with credentials and interests.
- The agent recommends a project and shows the evidence behind it.
- Load an incomplete profile. Show the agent ask for what is missing instead of guessing.
- Load an unsuitable profile. Show the agent decline to match and say why.
Showcase checklist
- One workflow, clearly named
- Every recommendation shows its evidence
- Incomplete profile handled
- Unsuitable profile handled
- Mocked services and the integration boundary described
Boundaries
Use sample profiles and briefs, or access you are explicitly authorised to use. No real user data. Name any mocked BASIX services in your README.
Bar to beat
Venture Route, a previous BASIX winner, used MeTTa rules to route a founder's brief to verified builders and show its working.
Stretch ideas
A match score reviewers can audit; credential checks against Open Badges; a brief writer for entrepreneurs.
Best for
Builders who like marketplaces and explainable recommendations.
The rules apply to every track
Entry rules, deadlines, judging weights and boundaries are in the buildathon brief.
